The Dragon & Phoenix program is 404 hours and represents the basic requirements towards becoming an accredited member of certifying bodies such as the FQM, AMQ and CPMPC.
At Dragon & Phoenix students learn techniques and approaches in the style of the masters Ohashi and Masunaga (Zen Shiatsu). As is taught at Dragon & Phoenix, the goal of shiatsu is to make the client more aware of and in tune with their body and to find and correct energetic imbalances so that the body can heal itself. As such, shiatsu is a therapeutic approach that not only allows the receiver to relax but may also relieve them of long-standing discomforts and symptoms as well as prevent new ones.
2 days - 15 hours, principles of Shiatsu 2 days - 15 hours, intake techniques and communication 5 days - 37.5 hours, hara diagnosis, 12 meridian theory and practice 4 days - 30 hours, major stretches and mobilizations, chair shiatsu, shiatsu for pregnant women 5 days - 37.5 hours, five element diagnosis and meridian work 45 hours, being able to deal with clients more effectively when sexual issues arise 2 days - 15 hours, TCM readings, energetic perception 7 evenings - 21 hours, practice with instructor, review 15 hours 2 days - 15 hours, practice with instructor, individual feedback and review 15 hours 
2 days - 15 hours, practice in clinic with supervision and feedback 1 day - 8 hours, theoretical and practical assessment with individual feedback
